Mario Henry is a Former NFL Player having played for the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots. Mario discussed his time in the NFL or as he calls it the “Not For Long League”. Mario Henry calls it the Not For Long League as very few players make it in the NFL longer than 3 years. Mario states that many players leave after two seasons so that the NFL does not have to give them a pension.
Mario gave some other inside information on the NFL, its players, and how they treat players. Mario also talked about how many current players don’t like to socialize with former NFL players. Mario Henry gave a real inside behind the scenes look at the NFL and why many players don’t handle their money very well.
Mario also talked about what he is doing now with his company Halo America. Halo America offers a unique program which allows someone who can’t for a mortgage due to their credit score to own a home. Mario Henry’s Halo America purchases a foreclosure or an under market priced home for an individual with challenged credit. They then lease the property with an option to buy to an individual. While Halo rents the home to the potential buyer, Halo is busy fixing the individuals credit so that they eventually be able to get a mortgage and buy the home from Halo.
